At the Innovative Citizen Festival, Garden Edition, we hosted a FERMENTATION workshop, where we preserved vegetables, herbs, nuts, and legumes.
Late summer is a time of abundant harvest in community gardens. Through fermentation, oil preservation, or cooking, we will prepare sauces, pestos, spreads, and side dishes to enjoy the harvest throughout the winter. Please bring: a cutting board, kitchen knife, large bowl, vegetables, herbs, nuts, legumes, spices, and more.
